Thanks for all your comments and advice. The tickets have now been booked and we're hopefully all set.

Now, what's up with hotel availability in CPT? People must book way in advance as mid-November is starting to be sold out at the best properties. Nothing at the Sheraton through SPG for instance. I think I'll go for the Radisson SAS Hotel Waterfront.
