Frequence Jeune or Flying Blue for a 2 year-old

Which is best for a 2 year-old (with an address in France): To enroll in Frequence Jeune or Flying Blue?

As far as I understand, Frequence Jeune is restricted to France residents but allows to accrue more miles on domestic itineraries as opposed to Flying Blue that does not.

The FB website states that it is possible to enroll in FB from the age of 2. So I guess, one has to make a choice (or their parents for that matter) between Frequence Jeune and FB.

Does anyone know if children can earn status in any of these programs?
If so, would the thresholds be the same than for adults?
