Pre August 10, I checked a bag in Chicago for a 10:00am flight to SFO; dropped it at 9:00am, it went onto a massive stack of bags behind the counter that were obviously not going anywhere anytime soon.
I did not expect nor did I receive my bag after waiting 90 bloody minutes for them to come off the conveyor (it was a packed to the gills 747). It came later that afternoon; methinks in that case, TSA had nothing to do with the delay. I already complained about this in another thread, but why United only had 1 agent working the elite Easy Check-In machines on the Sunday morning after the Gay Games ended is beyond me. Clearly their fault on this one but no big drama, I live in SF and so my bags were recovered after only a 3 hour delay.
