I am actually a fan of Blackberry and Palm. I still have a palm for games, book reading and other applications. I choose to keep it becuase I have been harassed about using a BB on an airplane. The flight crew seems to be ignorant of the ability to turn off the phone features and still use the device.

I love my Blackberry 8700. It works great and the web browsing is fast. If you are going to travel international, you need to stick with a T-Mobile or Cingular GSM Model. I know Verizon is coming out with a multiband phone, but trust me NEVER do Verizon internationally it is a disaster. My entire company is switching back to TMobile as it was a HUGE disaster with their international phones and service. The people we called could not handle our user issues and the devices just did not work. They had to turn their phones off and on about every 1/2 hour.

If you are primarily a Email user, you just can't beat the Blackberry.
