I have heard from time to time that people book a year out and always wondered how you could plan you life that far ahead. Guessing I am the crazy one here. By the way, other than to some strange places, I can ALWAYS get my tickets a month out, sometimes a week.. like next week to the SC beach. When I say always, sometimes I have to take an earlier or later in the day flight, but schedule usually no a problem.</font>
90% of the time I will agree with you, but there are times that you have to make the reservations that far in advance. The Ham radio Convention in Dayton every year for example, wait a day or two and the rooms are gone. Medical conferences, cruise days, Comdex or NAB in Vegas, all require you to book on the first day the bookings are available, or you may not get anything.
