have had it both ways - quite often coming into LGW, they do "decant" it into plastic glass but have had it before as well that allowed to keep proper glass.

it's quite nice either way - hate it when you get the feeling that CE / CW / F ends 20 mins before landing. much nicer when you can keep sipping away until arrival at the gate.
