I recently tried to book a hotel room at the Mandarin Oriental in Macau with Amex Centurion. Turned out the guy did not know what or where Macau is / was...

The closest he could get is the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong (which is closed for renovation at the moment) - but he didn't know that...

Money well spent on the card fee !
