LapLap-

My friend, I don't envy you. For starters, my bags were lost on August 10th on Flight 002 from ORD-WAW. It is now August 21st, I'm back home in the States and my bags are still nowhere to be found.

As for the flight back? Wow! And not in a good way. We had a 2.5 hour ground delay because of something to do with luggage screening. Our 16:35 departure was wheels up at 19:20. This of course then made me miss my connection from Chicago to Cincinnati. They did put us up in a so-so hotel for the night though and in the morning we were able to get bump tickets on United for another flight leaving 5 minutes later. Small victory I guess.

Anyway, the service in the air was great. Both staffs were very cordial. As odd as this sounds, if you can, get the two seats in 39 F/G. It's in the back by the lavatory but for some reason the leg room is far far better than row 33 which we had on the way over.

On a side note, does ANYONE know of a number in the US for us to call for lost luggage? The baggage office in O'Hare is not picking up and the voicemail message sounds like a regular one at someone's home.
