Looking forward to an upcoming weekend of pampering in MAD and am considering what to pack.

I am a master of packing light (if I may say so myself) and can happily purge pretty much every toiletries bar deodorant knowing that all the essential cleaning and grooming products will be provided at my hotel. So I'm hoping a solitary stick will be accepted through security and making the journey without checking in any bags, no matter how small.

The downside, is that I cannot load my bag with hotel toiletries - they really are quite exquisite at Hoteles Silken Puerta America, particularly the Colonia eau de toilette. Gosh! this must sound worryingly Hyacinth Bucket I'm fairly confident I could smuggle a bottle as far as LGW but not a chance on the connection to EDI. Ho hum!
