Which raises another point. FA's don't often refer to locality pay -- the three domestic NW hubs are in relatively low-cost parts of the country (MSP is the highest of the 3). While NW has crew bases elsewhere, the majority of FA's are based out of relatively inexpensive areas, especially compared to other airlines with hubs in higher cost of living cities (e.g., JFK/EWR, SFO, LAX, IAD, ORD, MIA).
Why isn't locality pay a concept used for FA's?
