And if you can pay that much for a haircut, a 20 percent tip doesn't seem out of line.
If the OP frequented hairdressers in this cut and gouge category, she wouldn't be asking how much she should tip, so it is probably safe to assume this is not a customary occurrance for her. And if she doesn't plan to ever go back, a tip of $20 sounds about right!
