KLM said overall load factor in May rose to 77.5% from 73.8% in the same month/year ago.
In the January through May period, the load factor increased to 77.6% from 73.6%.

Overall traffic in May rose 6% while capacity grew 1%, explaining the increase in the overall load factor. Traffic growth was strong on routes in the Asia Pacific area and Europe.

Pax traffic rose by 8% in May while capacity remained unchanged, and cargo traffic rose by 4% on a capacity increase of 1%.
