Has anyone stayed there? I will be going around Christmas. I believe the water will still be warm so it should be possible to swim in the ocean. It looks like there's some sort of ferry/boat between this resort and the Westin Key West Resort & Marina. Is a car really needed to stay in the area? I've never been in Key West so I'm not sure if a 7 to 9 night stay is too long.

I have the option of flying into Miami or into Key West. It seems like the drive down might be interesting, even at 3+ hours. Is there a bridge or some other way to get from Susnet Key to Key West?
I've stayed there...a few years ago when it was a Hilton. It's very nice, un-Hilton-like, on a private island just a few minutes ferry ride from downtown Key West. I would go back in a second...nice to hear that it's now part of Starwood. When it was Hilton it was in a category that precluded stays on points (that's right, no matter how many points you had, you couldn't redeem there).
