Thanks to all for the responses so far. I am not as concerned about the price as the convenience. As one reply stated, I thought for a quick business trip I would be crazy to fly LHR-MXP and then take a train.

I like to arrive early anyway, so it sounds like this might just work out for me.

Any other thoughts?
