FWIW, there are reactive liquids that are clear just like water. Let's just go with the rules.
I guess I just don't understand. If water and other banned liquids are available for purchase post screening and if there's no additional screening before boarding, it does, on the face of it at least, appear that the TSA can't really be all that concerned about water or anything else purchased in a sterile area being brought on board.
