Here is the original message that I sent (you can run a search to find the thread that I started on FT regarding this topic).

Note that I made absolutely NO mention of any laminated cards, so that must have been something that AC CS discovered on its own, OR from other elites who complained about BA's unilateral issuance of laminated cards.

Dear Customer Service, I recently had a rather unpleasant and embarassing experience when I attempted to use my AA PLT/ OW Sapphire status to gain entry to the British Airways Terraces Lounge at MIA while traveling on an eligible international itinerary (to Mexico City [MEX], the one exception to the "North America" rule). The BA agent said I was not allowed access anymore now that there is an Admirals Club located in the same terminal, even though I was traveling on an eligible itinerary. I then proceeded to the Admirals Club, and the AA Agents at the club were quite sympathetic to my frustration because they had had many other complaints about it from AA elites. Apparently, BA has been enacting lounge rules unilaterally at MIA that completely contradict the OneWorld access policies that all the carriers agreed to. The AC agent immediately contacted her supervisor and asked her to get in touch with BA. She told me that the BA elites come over to the Admirals Club all the time to use the free internet, and she finds it maddening that BA can't be a good neighbor and follow the terms of its agreement as part of the OW Alliance. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this situation? I know many fellow AA elites who will be very upset if the opening of the Admirals Club in Concourse A will negate our ability to visit the BA Terraces Lounge. Many thanks, XXXXXX
