Stayed here this past Easter. As platinum, I did not receive any perks or upgrade from the room type booked. Had to ask for the platinum arrival gift 'menu'.

Room was not ready until almost 5 PM - no compensation or free drinks offered. We provided our cell phone number to the front desk, but they did not call when the room was FINALLY ready. No refrigerators available either.

No breakfast for plats as this is labelled a 'resort'.

Beware that this hotel caters to large (huge) conventions. The hotel is unbearable when one large group literally overtakes the entire property and pools.

I would suggest you ask if the hotel has any major conventions booked during your stay.

This Marriott is one of my favourites - but ONLY when they are not hosting a major convention.
