Regarding using a certificate that is issued in another's name. I gave my husband my certificate and he was able to use it with no questions asked. I even mentioned to the CSR over the phone when I called to request the upgrade for him that it was my certificate and she didn't seem to have a problem with it. He used a certificate issued in his name for one segement and my certificate for another. He was never asked to surrender the actual certificate at check in for either segment.
