This story is an shocking situation for Island Air pilots. Many Island Air pilots who has a high senority will get an interview with Aloha and many are hired to Aloha. Most pilots that goes to Island Air to get hired to Aloha. They bare with the low pay hoping Aloha will hire them. As I know the pilot contract ends this year and still has not been able to reach a deal. There could be a strike or other pilot arguments. Aloha Airlines new hire class usually contains 4 Island Air pilots.
