Am I missing something? Why would someone need KY in-flight? I would much prefer Blistex. Maybe there are health problems I don't know about, but I would assume someone with problems could use some type of suppository.

Hmm.. I wonder what my fellow passengers will think when they see me rubbing the new warming KY on my dry hands and lips mid-flight. Might be an interesting way to moisturize.
