I split out your question from the thread on what everyone's experiences have been with bringing makeup and toiletries through security. I'm also wondering if this might be best addressed by one of the screeners in the TSA forum. Maybe one will be kind enough to answer this for us here.

Edited to add: I see you have raised the question there and it's being discussed on the thread below. Maybe Bart will have a clarification on that soon. I'm certainly eager to see what it means - I'm hoping moisturizers and the like.
