I understand we get one change before we start to fly. A friend made a reservation for a ticket for himself and me. We were planning on traveling togeather. He can't go and is going to cancel his ticket and get a refund.

I've done some looking around on the thread and have not been able to find and answer to the following:

If my friend cancels his ticket,have we both in effect "touched" and made a change to the reservation; thereby, locking me in to the dates that are currently on my ticket?

My ticket is flyable and I will enjoy my three days in LCA it's in October 06. I just want the to preserve my flexabiliy before my departure date.
