thinking that my travel insurance would cover us if they go on strike but I was just told that insurance won't cover us b/c NWA annouced the possibility of a strike back in July.
We're going from MHT to HKG via DTW and NRT. If the strike is still going on come December and my flights are cancelled what are my recourse? Would they allow us a full refund if we decide not to go(my fares are non-refundable right now)? Or would we be stuck at the mercy of other airlines to allow us on their flights to get us home?
And since NW is a partner with Continental I wonder if they would let me change my flights from NW to Continental even if that means paying a fee??? Anyone know?
