I doubt there is much cause for concern in discussing this matter. If any terrorists actually tuned into this board, I'd guess we were doing the world a service by keeping them (like many of us) away from their more productive activities.

Then again, that Al Qaeda might be checking in here from time to time would explain that stange video Bin Laden issued late last year, railing for once not about the US and Israel, but about the loss of SSWU at 45K... as I recall, it had all the terrorism experts quite flummoxed. Seemed like some kind of coded message at the time.

In any event, many people have commented on air marshals and how they take up valuable J-cabin space that could be far better used upgrading frequent flyers. The logic there, incidentally, being not the comfort of the marshals but rather their supposed need to be in proximity to the cockpit.

I think, however, that this subject does warrant a new thread, since this flight was UK-Canada and presumably non-US personnel on board. I know nothing about the RCMP policies on these issues. Which we can certainly keep secret if people like...
