I can only see the "names" of the CDPs that are saved in my profile on Hertz.com (e.g., Amex Platinum, Costco, USAA, etc.). I can no longer see the actual numeric codes for these CDPs, and I'm pretty sure I used to be able to.
I'd like to give a family member a few CDPs to try out -- short of scouring this forum for the random CDP posting here and there, is there a better way?
I rent cars frequently and not only find the USAA CDP to provide me the best rate, but I also use that CDP exclusively because their program offers a $5K max liability for damage/total loss, no loss of use charges if there is an accident, and free additional drivers who are USAA members without having to sign up (as I understand) at time of rental. Based on these factors and the great prices, I always use this CDP, even though I also have others. By the way, be sure to check on the USAA PC coupon numbers, as they also offer great additional discounts. Recently I tried to use the latest $30 off Hertz #1 Club Gold weekly discount I received but found the price was substantially more than just using the Hertz CDP.
