While I agree that the .1 percentage point adjustment is not overly significant, the huge jump -- versus a decline -- in the hotel sector has enormous implications. Since those on FT spend a major portion of their income -- or company budgets -- on travel, hotels tend to often be more of an expendiiture than air fares, so this is a hugely important matter for us. (Everyone's cost of living differs based on the "basket" they consume, so this one really hits us hard.)
