Hawaiian Airlines to lease four Boeing 767s
Hawaiian Airlines Inc. (AMEX:HA - news) said on Friday it had signed a letter of intent to lease four wide-body Boeing Co. (NYSE:BA - news) 767-300ER twin-aisle, twin-jet aircraft from International Lease Finance Corp.
The letter anticipates delivery of the aircraft during the first and second quarters of 2002, bringing the number of 767-300ER aircraft Hawaiian is acquiring to seven, replacing the McDonnell Douglas DC-10s used on its Transpacific routes.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Boeing 767-300ERs list for about $121 million each.
