(DH) Not necessarily. Sure you can buy the coupons by the booklet but any TA will sell you any number of coupons.

(MisterNice) That is why the "(usually in packs of 4-12)" only follows the remark after the HA airline reference

(DH) I believe HI resident's fares are cheaper than any visitor could get but I could be wrong. Is there any HI resident F-Ters to verify this?

(MisterNice) I am a HI resident, and I often use said coupons. You are certainly free to get a second FT-er opinion

(DH) BTW looks like coupons went up by several $ since I have been to HI in Sept 98. FYI, HA coupons at ATMs were $52.50 and I paid $48.50 with TA.

(MisterNice) Not only have they gone up since 9/98, they also went down in price since 9/98. I buy them every month
