I took the sim out of the 7130 and stuck it in the 7100. I still had e-mail, browser and everything. The functions are dependent on the support on the account the sim is connected to and not if the phone is unlocked or not.

So when I ditch this country and move across the pond, I have an unlocked BB I can stick my Rogers pay monthly in to and add BB suport to the account and off I go.

Which part isn't true? I said that with a prepaid sim none of the data services on the phone will work. That IS true. You may want to re-read my post as I think you misunderstood it.
