My request is realy simple of Sing: post my miles to United, and then PPS points please since I travel business class.

On my last trip, they amazingly posted my United miles to someone else and that took two months to undo. And on this trip, despite talking to multiple check-in personnel to reiterate my requirements I ended up with the following, which doesn't make any sense at all:

SFO - SIN - Got United Miles but no PPS!
SIN - BLR - Got KFlyer Miles and PPS, but not United.

So question: is this normal, and I should just expect to send a fax after every trip reminding them what I want and getting someone to fix it? Or should I be able to give them some kind of codes/instructions that everyone will understand and input correctly so that this works hassle free?

If you're getting your points credited correctly 50% of the time, congratulations! I have given up hoping, and just accepted that it is necessary to write to CS to try to get it rectified. Invariably, the first reply from CS tells me that what I want to do is not permissable, since the person has neglected to read my email. Thereafter it takes 2-3 months and several follow up emails to sort out. It astonishes me that an airline as good as SQ can't get this right, even when they outsource airport handling and check in; and that the quality of emails I get from CS are so poor, and show little attempt to try to help. Forgive me if I sound very negative, but I am going through another bout of rectification currently!
