Amanbagh in May

The heat in May was intense. We got used to it and were made very comfortable by the staff. All the pools are chilled, the AC cranked in your room, and after a day we ate outside in the shade and did things in the early morning and late afternoon. It was great and I loved it. We had the whole place to ourselves. The menu was very expansive and all the food was fresh and amazing. There was a live flute player during the day playing softly in the background , camals and dogs wondering the grounds, and the hotel never felt like it was only doing things half .... Every lounge chair was set up around the pools so we had lots of choices to lay by the pool. They brought iced water and lemon granita to our lounges and what ever else we desired. The camel ride outside the resort is a must and it was on par with the elephant ride at Amanjiwo. I think you need a minimum of 5 nights there but 3 could work if you don't have the time. Its 5 hrs from Delhi airport and they said they will soon have helicopter service. I think you should go!
