There were likely other Platinum or Exectuive Platinum members on the flight who didn't get anything, let alone the non-FFs. There appears to be no pattern as to when they give out automatic customer service compensation, nor a pattern as to how much it is. We've had reports on this board of situations like an EXP getting no bonus, but his PLT wife getting a bonus. I don't expect compensation for delays in most cases, but its nice when it comes.
That being said, we've had several reports recently about FTers getting Customer Service bonuses, so even if it isn't a scientific sampling or indicative of anything, ^ ^ to AA!
