Fair enough, as long as they are "loud, clear, positive commands". It's easy to imagine some 23 y/o FA on an RJ who's facing her first a-typical event shrieking the commands. There is a difference between speaking loud and calmly as opposed to loud and panicky. I'm sure no one believes a single word of what that Free Press writer said at this point, but if his characterization of the FA's "shrieking" is true, that may have led to some of the confusion.
