It's not that troublesome. If you're in the window seat and the person in front of you is reclined, it can be a bit of a jaunt to get to the aisle. It's really not that difficult.
When sitting in row 1 or 8 it is also easier to stick a carryon bag under the legdome to make it a bit more 'flat'.. it's almost impossible with a seat reclining into you..
