So they did try to notify you....that's why I give them my cell so that we something happens there is a chance of getting messages directly. THough it sucks what happened, I'm not sure exactly what you expect.
NW called at 12:45, FIVE MINUTES before the lax-mem flight at 12:50. Did they think he was still at home at that time? Even with a cell # they would have been notifying him while he was sitting on the plane. Why call? Just have the FA tell him.
