Having flown both of these airlines in F in the past year, I can say that LH definitely has a big advantage, especially if you have the opportunity to use the FCT. Overall, I was not very impressed by either airlines F product, compared to Asian airlines. Of course, I did fly the old F on AF, so if you get the new F, that may be much better (which you probably will fly). Overall, the service is not great on either airline, and the food is ok.
