One lesson I've learned in life is to assume nothing. You'd have thought that BAA, the airlines and the Government would have plans to deal with various security scenarios at LHR.

Hopefully we'll never to have to find out, but I dread to think how BAA would handle an incident in one of the terminals at LHR.

I think some sort of enquiry would be effective. I'd like to see BAA's executives receive a grilling from a Government Select Committee. No-one can spin their way out of Select Committee grilling with a few soundbites given on the advice of a PR company.
