Yes, but what is difficult to notice now, give the 100's of 'What can I take on my flight', 'can I take my IPod on my flight', 'what size of baggage is allowed', 'will they allow water on board', etc., etc. is that at the time of the OP, there were a number of other threads, all discussing the same thing. Admitedly there may have been only tw or three on the front page, and they might not have had exactly the same title, but they were there and with ten minutes of reading by the OP we could have avoided the (albeit good hum(o)ured) chastisement of Firstclasslad, whom I believe is a long-time reader and contributor to this board - he certainly predates my time here.

It may be a cultural thing here, but us Brits are usually a bit more reserved than many other cultures. In any culture, it's usually polite to listen before speaking ('Yo Blair'), if you're joining in to an established conversation. I take this place as being a bit like that and would countenance a thorough review of past posts before asking what may have been said many times before.

So then, to avoid the wrath of the BA board, I suggest:
1. Search before posting
2. Read the 'Ultimate Sticky'
3. Avoid any posts about 'what seat is best'
4. Likewise for 'How to keep my account from expiring'
5. Don't call BA 'Brit Air', 'British' or 'British Air'. 'BA' or 'British Airways' is fine.
6. Try not to offend the apostrophe police - its not too difficult to punctuate properly you know!

Remember, we are a friendly bunch in the UK, the occasional outburst is usually either misunderstood irony with a forgotten smiley or just sheer frustration at bad board etiquete.

Happy travels,
Ms.
