Which is it? What are you talking about TSA will letting leave shoes on go through the metal detector at checkpoint? They are relaxed due to under new security measures. I only one for me that I am allowed leave the shoes on while I was traveling out from PHX. Some that I know TSA employees at terminal 3 north. I didn't have anything problems my shoes.
