Hello FTers,

I was wondering if anyone who has flown in the last two weeks have seen what various airport security folks have to say about a single tennis racquet in a padded case as a carryon. Both airline (US and DL) customer service staffs say that a single racquest is OK with them.

I have 3-4 transcontential trips coming up in the next five weeks. I have not flown since 9/11 (due to limiting leisure travel due to my football officiating schedule and the sporadic nature of my business travel). I am hesitant to check a $250 racquet.
