Very interesting idea.

I would have loved to have had this in place last Xmas for the FT Secret Santa. My recipient lives in Berlin and I live in San Francisco. Based on his "helpful hints" I would have LOVED to gift him some wonderful local wines. But after a few weeks of trying, it became clear that there is really no way to ship wine internationally. A local Berlin-bound FTer would have been great (assuming they didn't mind taking gifts from a stranger...)

I would be glad to help out on this end too, should somebody lose something in the area.
