This is consistent with what I have been told from the folks at MSP. In order to bring a liquid or gel medicine with you on board the aircraft at this time, you need both a prescription for the medicine on the bottle, not the box, and an additional piece of support showing that the medication is not available in any form other than the prohibitted form. In otherwords it is a two part test.

1. Prescription attached to the item in question; and

2. Proof that it is not available in any other form.

Additionally, I have been told that prescriptions written for OTC meds will not be accepted.
