I am planning a European vacation for next summer and we are flying back to LAX out of FRA. Which Hilton would be our best choice for our last night in Germany? I've heard that Mainz is a nicer town than Frankfurt and I've never been to either. We will be flying out of FRA in the morning but it looks like the hotels are pretty equal distance-wise from the airport. Any help is appreciated.

Also, we are planning on driving from Paris to Koblenz/Frankfurt (we will be flying out of FRA). We will be doing about 3 to 4 nights between Paris and our day of departure out of FRA and would appreciate any tips re: good towns/hotels to stop at. I have heard excellent things about the castle, Burg Eltz, and would like to stop there. My husband is a big history buff and would love any world war I or II historical sites. Any tips re: sites/hotels/towns/driving routes are appreciated. Thanks.
