I'm spending this weekend at the Wynn. My second stay. First was a business trip when it was brand new and just wanted check it out. The reason we chose Wynn over the RC Lake Vegas or the FS LAS was that we wanted a more typical Vegas experience and the RC/FS both have differentiating charactersitics that we just were not interested in at the moment.


The physical plant is excellent. From the right weight of the doors in the bathrooms, to the art in-room, to the public areas. Superior to any older vintage RC or FS in this respect and slightly lower quality than a brand new RC/FS/MO.

The service is the downfall.
-Showed up at 2:30 and room not ready
-Would then not allow us to room charge the lunch we had while waiting for our room to be ready. We insisted on this b/c if the FHR benefit. Then asked me to get up and check-in in the middle of my meal if I wanted to have room credit. Just a silly policy...
-Pool waitresses have been M.I.A.
-Strict enformcement of where you can use breakfast credit. Not allowed for room service
-No people to do pool setups. No umbrellas. Just grab a towel and do your best.
