Connecting between F and B/C (mainline gates) involves a bus ride, but that usually isn't too bad. The big problem at PHL is when it's backed up due to weather and delays can be very lengthy. Baggage is another issue - it often misconnects. The staff there is mediocre at best. Perhaps things are improving there...I haven't been through PHL since May.
