Trust that your complaint will be met with a response that goes:
"Although you are not required to remove your shoes, you may be subject to additional screening..." (the old "we simply ignore your entire complaint" answer I have gotten before)
-OR-
"You must understand that we cannot disclose the nature of specific policies due to the sensitive nature of the screening process." (the "cop out" answer, which also ignores your entire point)
You will not get a real answer, I think.
