Personally, I hate checking bags. Fortunately, for me, my travels are pretty structured. I fly to specific cities, am only there for two to three days tops, and have an office in each city where I can store things securely.

What I'm planning on doing is keeping a stash in each office (toothpaste, shower gel, shaving cream, shampoo, etc.). I'll take it with the to the hotel, use them, and on my last day in the office, leave the items in my office and use some of those little travel size toothpaste, etc. at the hotel so I can just toss it in the trash before I check out of the hotel before my morning flight out.

Yeah, I know it's crazy but I think it just might work.
