Normal for Starwood in Asia? Any ideas. I am new to Starwood and thus the question. Have stayed at the Westin KL, Le Meredien- Bangkok and and Westin -Bangkok and havent been charged.

Fair to say Australia is very different to Asia.
(eg quality and cost of breakfast)
Think it is primarily to do with the fact that the gym is outsourced
(and indeed a public gym that is one of the more expensive ones in Sydney, so I'm sure Starwood has to pay a fee to the operator per usage.)
