No government is perfect, and I don't pretend to think that this government is perfect (political or public service side) and this may not be the bestest response possible, but this is the government's response.
So shore9, let's see how you do when you're in a situation like this where you need to (or provide analysis, recommendations, advice, and solutions to those who need to) make decisions urgently and as informed as possible that have immediate and real economic, social, and other consequences that stretch across a whole nation.
