Unless people walk thru the metal detector nude, people will get thru with things hidden in pockets and such. It's stupid, look for the suspicious people, and if that means profiling so be it. And if this explosive could have been made easily, why has it taken this long to prevent any liquids from being taken on board. So now that you cannot take food on board, AC will be profiting even more greatly from their buy on board program. The government or whoever it is that is in charge of airport security is going about it all wrong and wasting millions of dollars. Then again I have never believed the government to be at all efficient.
